Smith, Harney & Daly LLC is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and was initially founded as an Executive Search firm that assisted companies in finding proven leaders with a prior military background.
Regarding our Executive Search services, our candidates are known to have extensive industry experience and a strong history of principle based leadership qualities. Many of our candidates have had previous jobs in healthcare, jobs in IT, previously held defense jobs, or are currently engaged in their own engineering jobs search. Our core areas are finding effective leaders for the business community as well as the Government/Defense contracting sector by finding qualified cleared candidates (candidates from the US intelligence community with a secret, top secret or TS/SCI clearance with either a CI or Lifestlye / Full Scope Polygraph). In addition to Leadership and Defense opportunities, we also specialize in positions that require a strong background in planning, operations, logistics and communications. Because of the unique needs in these fields and the veterans previous expertise in these areas, we search for and find many professionals with strong backgrounds in engineering, project management, program management and consulting. Because of this, we are big believers in the values brought from Lean Sigma (LSS / VBLSS) and Six Sigma and are always interested in recruiting for quality opportunities in this realm as well.
